about me
Hey, I am Apoorva Bhatnagar, a fashion design graduate from pearl academy, I run a label by the name of Garvili. Garvili strives to become your go-to place for all things style-related. I focus on creating women’s wear, created in western and indo-western style. Derived from the current trends in terms of colors and silhouettes, I create a variety of products such as trousers, jumpsuits, dresses, skirts and more. Inspiration plays an integral part in my creations. So I start designing keeping my inspiration in mind and mind map the entire piece. This process of creating something from scratch often entails a lot of research as well as I conduct my primary and then secondary research by visiting places if need be and browsing online as well. Once I have all of this in place, only then do I start developing the design, followed by the fabric sourcing. After I have enough designs prepared, I narrow it down to approximately 25-30 that go with my inspiration or trend. Keeping a strong focus on inspiration as that is what drives me forward, I take inspiration from just about anywhere and everywhere, especially my surroundings. But what sets my pieces apart? Their elegance and the ‘chic’ factor that all of my garments have. Being a fashion designer by profession, I decided to start my own venture with the support of my father and once I took the plunge, I haven’t looked back since!
